Download NowThe Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay has released the Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM) 2026 response sheet for candidates who appeared in the February 11 examination. The download link is available on the official portal, joaps.iitb.ac.in.
The JAM 2026 exam was conducted for seven papers — Biotechnology (BT), Chemistry (CY), Economics (EN), Geology (GG), Mathematics (MA), Mathematical Statistics (MS) and Physics (PH). Candidates who took the test can access their response sheets through the website.
Through JAM 2026, around 3,000 seats in IITs and nearly 2,300 seats in IISc will be filled via centralised counselling for the 2026–27 academic session. The institute clarified that admissions will not involve any additional process such as interviews or suitability tests.
Admissions to programmes including MSc, MSc Tech, MS Research, MSc-MTech dual degree, Joint MSc–PhD and MSc–PhD dual degree across participating institutes will be granted on the basis of JAM scores.
The results are scheduled to be announced on March 20 at joaps.iitm.ac.in. In case of a tie, ranking will be decided based on the positive-to-negative marks ratio, followed by NAT marks, MSQ marks and finally the candidate’s date of birth, with the older candidate given preference.
