NEW DELHI: Both the rounds of Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main are over. Candidates who took the tests between April 6 and 15 are now waiting for the JEE Main result 2023. When JEE Main result 2023 session 2 is out and NTA announces the JEE Main cut-offs , the institutions which will admit students on JEE Mains scores will gear up for the counselling and seat allotment process. The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) is the conducting body of JEE Main 2023 counselling.
The JEE Main 2023 counselling dates and seat allotment will be updated on the website after the JEE Main result 2023 declaration. JEE Main counselling will be held in online. Applicants will have to register on the official website of JoSAA to participate in the JEE Main counselling and seat allotment 2023.
NTA will likely announce the JEE Main cut-off 2023 in addition to the JEE Main 2023 result. Students scoring marks above the JEE Main cut-off will be able to take admission to the undergraduate (UG) programmes -- BE, BTech and BArch at National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs) and Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs).
NTA will calculate the JEE Main 2023 percentile scores up to seven decimal places to avoid the bunching effect. Students willing to appear for JEE Advanced 2023 will be required to meet the JEE Main 2023 cut-off. JEE Advanced 2023 exam date is June 4.
