NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur will host the 2023 edition of its technical fest, titled ‘Techkriti’. The festival will be held on the college premises from March 23 to March 26, 2023, a statement from the institute said.
Numerous workshops, shows, talk shows, events, exhibitions and competitions are slated to be held under Techkriti 2023, the statements further added. Competitions pertaining to diverse categories such as robogames, take off, software corner, mandakini, model united nations, fintech, ECDC, design, technovation etc will be held this year, the officials of the institute informed.

In addition to these, workshop on crucial domains including IoT with Google, Robotics, Drone, Blockchain Technology, startup consulting, machine learning, product management and cloud computing will also take place, they added.
Various exhibitions aimed at shaping futuristic innovation, ideas and thinking will also be put up for display at Techkriti 2023, which include Auto Expo and NAO by Softbank Robotics. Cultural and recreational programmes by sundry artists will also be organised during the course of the four-day long festival.

IIT Kanpur has revoked the Goods and Services Tax (GST) on the application fee of JEE Advanced 2018. Candidates, who aspire to apply for JEE Advanced must note that now they do not need to pay the GST on JEE Advanced application fee. The official announcement made by IIT Kanpur reads, “In view of the decisions taken during the 25th meeting of the Goods and Services Tax (GST) Council held on January 18, 2018, the GST on registration fees for JEE (Advanced) 2018, as earlier notified, is withdrawn.”
