NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IITK) has launched "SATHEE CUET," an online platform designed to support students in preparing for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG and CUET PG 2025. Developed in partnership with the Ministry of Education, SATHEE aims to provide free, quality educational resources for competitive exam preparation.
Commenting on the launch of SATHEE CUET, Manindra Agrawal, director of IIT Kanpur , said, "The introduction of SATHEE CUET is a testament to our ongoing efforts to make quality education accessible to every student. By providing specialized resources for CUET preparation, we aim to empower students with the tools they need to achieve excellence in competitive exams and succeed in their chosen fields."
SATHEE CUET: Live session and practice questions
As per IIT Kanpur press release, SATHEE CUET offers a variety of educational resources to help students with their exam preparation. The platform features recorded lectures by distinguished faculty, interactive live sessions with subject specialists, and a large collection of practice questions.

SATHEE CUET uses AI-powered analytics to track student progress and identify areas that need improvement. As per IIT Kanpur, the platform provides detailed test series to help students evaluate their performance against national standards. The SATHEE CUET platform can be accessed via its official website at cuet.iitk.ac.in or by downloading the SATHEE app from the App Store or Google Play.

Amey Karkare, principal investigator of the SATHEE project, said "SATHEE CUET has been meticulously designed to cater to the unique needs of CUET aspirants. Our goal is to offer a platform that not only prepares students for the exams but also fosters a deeper understanding of their chosen subjects, helping them excel in their higher education journey."
About CUET UG exam
The CUET UG is a national-level entrance exam conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to UG courses offered by participating institutes. Introduced in 2022, the CUET exam offers candidates a common platform for seeking admission to UG programs in top universities throughout India. The CUET covers a range of subjects, including languages, science, mathematics, and general knowledge, with questions based on the Class 12 syllabus. CUET is conducted in multiple languages, and students can appear for it after completing Class 12. There is no age limit for the exam, although individual universities may have specific eligibility criteria.
Govind Jaiswal, joint secretary, Ministry of Education, stated, “SATHEE CUET will provide students with equitable access to high-quality, structured learning resources, empowering them to prepare confidently for their exams. The SATHEE platform upholds our commitment to inclusive education and aligns with the vision of the National Education Policy 2020 to make academic excellence accessible to all.”
