IIT Kharagpur law admissions 2025 three-year LLB merit list out; 58 qualify

NEW DELHI : The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur has published the first merit list for IIT Kharapur LLB 2025 admissions. A total of 58 students have been shortlisted for 3-year LLB admissions. Selected candidates will soon receive and confirmation email from the exam conducting committee on their registered email ID.
IIT Kharagpur has released the first merit list on the official website, gateoffice.iitkgp.ac.in. The institute conducted the LLB entrance exam on March 16. The final selection of the candidates will be based on the marks obtained in the computer-based test.
Selected candidates will get admission to 3-year LLB programme at Rajiv Gandhi School of Intellectual Property Law. IIT Kharagpur will also accept admissions based on CLAT scores. Candidates will have to complete their admission formalities before the last date.
Candidates from engineering, science, and MBA streams will be offered admission to the 3-year LLB prorgamme. The IIT Kharagpur LLB entrance exam was held for two hours, and candidates were given 100 questions comprising 200 marks. There was no negative marking in the admission test, and two marks were given for each correct answer. The exam was held in around 14 exam centres across the country.

IIT Kharagpur Law Admissions 2025: Required documents
Candidates who have qualified for IIT Kharagpur Law admissions 2025 will have to submit the list of the following documents:
- Passport-sized photograph
- Class Class 10 mark sheet
- Class 12 mark sheet
- Bachelor’s degree certificate (for UG and PG admission)
- Entrance exam scorecard
- Transfer certificate
- Migration certificate
- Caste certificate
