IIT Kharagpur Law Entrance Exam 2023: LLB, LLM registration begins; eligibility, schedule

NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur (IIT Kharagpur) has started the registration for law admission 2023 for LLB, LLM courses today. Candidates who are interested in applying for IIT LLB admission 2023 will have to submit the application form through the official website, gateoffice.iitkgp.ac.in.
The IIT LLB 2023 application form last date is March 15. Male applicants belonging to General, EWS, OBC category will have to pay an Rs 3,000, whereas female, third gender, SC, ST, PwD candidates will have to submit IIT Kharagpur law fees of Rs 1500. As per the schedule, the IIT-Kgp law entrance exam will be held tentatively on April 23.
While filling out the IIT Kharagpur Law 2023 admission form, students will have to upload qualifying degree certificates and EWS, OBC (Non-creamy), SC, ST, PD certificates if applicable.

IIT Kharagpur LLB Admission 2023: Eligibility
IIT Kharagpur law entrance exam eligibility for LLB courses are given below.
- First class Bachelor's degree in engineering, technology, medicine or equivalent.
- First class Masters degree in science, pharmacy or equivalent.
- First class MBA degree with any of the above
- If the institute does not mention “First class” in the degree certificate then the eligibility will be a minimum of 60% marks or a CGPA of 6.5 in 10 point scale.
IIT Kharagpur LLM Admission 2023: Eligibility
Students pursuing LLB (Hons) in Intellectual Property Law from the IIT Kharagpur in the academic year 2022-23 with final CGPA of 8.5 or above are eligible for admission in LLM program without appearing in this entrance test.
- First class in Bachelor of Laws LLB/BL (5 years) programme from any recognised university.
- First class or equivalent in LLB/BL (3 years) programme along with BA degree of not less than 3 years in humanities, science, commerce or equivalent.
- The CGPA will not be converted into percentage marks if the institute provides marks in CGPA system. In that case, the IIT Kharagpur LLM admission 2023 will be based on the CGPA awarded in the transcript.
