IIT Mandi MTech Admission 2026: Application form open; admission via GATE 2026

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Mandi) has started applications for its Master of Technology (MTech) programmes for the 2026–27 academic session. Eligible candidates can apply for IIT Mandi MTech admission 2026 online through the official portal, iitmandi.ac.in.

The IIT Mandi MTech application form 2026 is available only online. As per the admission schedule, the last date to submit the IIT Mandi MTech admission form 2026 is April 17.

To complete the IIT Mandi MTech registration, candidates from the General, EWS, OBC, OBC-NCL, transgender, and foreign nationals categories will have to pay Rs. 200, while women, SC, ST, and PD candidates are required to pay Rs. 100.

For IIT Mandi MTech admission 2026, candidates graduating or having graduated from IITs with a BTech degree with a CGPA of 7.5 (out of 10) are exempted from the GATE score. The CGPA requirement is relaxed to 7.0 for OBC (NCL) candidates and 6.5 for SC, ST, and PwD candidates.

IIT Mandi MTech admission will be done through online counselling via COAP, based on GATE scores, grades, marks in the qualifying examination, UG, and interview. Candidates with a valid GATE score must register on the COAP 2026 portal, as seat allotment will be done through COAP.

• Download the submitted IIT Mandi MTech form and take a printout of it for your future reference.
