IIT Patna to host 3-day workshop to promote entrepreneurship in science, technology from March 13
IIT Patna will host workshop on Promotion of Research Infrastructure and Entrepreneurship in Science and Technology (PRIEST) from March 13.

NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Patna in association with Technology Development Board will host a three-day orientation workshop on Promotion of Research Infrastructure and Entrepreneurship in Science and Technology (PRIEST) from March 13.

On this occasion, RajKSinghIndia, Union Minister of Power, Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Government of India will be the Chief Guest and ShahnawazBJP, Industries Minister, Government of Bihar will be the Guest of Honor, said IIT Patna.
The objective of the workshop is to create awareness among faculties, young students and entrepreneurs about the importance of challenging technological problems in the country. Workshop will accelerate in building research infrastructure in R&D on identified problems, it said.

“The workshop, PRIEST, has only keynote lectures by experts from nationwide academic and funding agencies and experienced scientists from CSIR, DRDO, DST, DBT etc. It includes lectures from a successful entrepreneurs & industry leaders like Dr. Krishna M. Ella of Bharat Biotech,” IIT Patna added.
This workshop is aimed at offering a platform to showcase your ongoing research in the form of a live demonstration or poster display, the institute further said.
