IIT Roorkee invites applications for MTech VLSI programme; Industry professionals eligible

IIT Roorkee has opened applications for the MTech VLSI programmes. Candidates with or without GATE are eligible to apply for this programme.
NEW DELHI: Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IITR) has opened applications for the master of technology in Very large-scale integration (VLSI) programme for industry professionals. Interested candidates can apply on IIT Roorkee's official website- iit.ac.in till 5 PM on March 30, 2023.
Candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs 1000 at the time of registration. The total programme fee is Rs 6.5 lakhs. The entrance test for the MTech programme at IIT Roorkee will be held on April 29 and 30, 2023 in Bangalore, Noida and Hyderabad. the exam will be for a total of 1.5 hours. Candidates can check the syllabus for the IIT Roorkee entrance test on the official website.

IIT Roorkee MTech programme eligibility
Candidates that have the minimum educational qualification of a bachelor's degree in technology (BTech) or an equivalent or an master of science in physics or electronics are eligible to seek admission into the programme. All applicants must have at least 60% marks at their degree level.
The admission for IIT Roorkee's MTech programme in VLSI is open for all age groups. Candidates must have at least two years of relevant experience in industry and/or research labs on the last date of the submission of application. In addition to this, applicants with or without GATE score are eligible to apply for this programme.

Steps to apply for the IIT Roorkee MTech programme in VLSI
The applicants will required the following documents to complete the registration process- photograph, signature, UG/PG all semester marksheets, UG/PG degree provisional certificate, class 10, 12 marksheets, details of papers/ patents disclosures if any.
- First visit the official website- iitr.ac.in.
- Find the programme under the 'PG programmes tab.
- Enter details on the IIT Roorkee application form.
- Pay application fee via online payment methods.
- Download application form for future use.
