NEW DELHI: The Indian Merchant Navy has issued a recruitment notification for eligible candidates for the recruitment under various departments. The Indian Merchant Navy recruitment aims to fill a total of 4,108 vacancies in the department.
Interested candidates can join the Merchant Navy under this opportunity through the official website, sealanemaritime.in. As per the schedule, the Indian Merchant Navy application window will remain open till April 30, 2024.
All individuals seeking to apply for these positions must have valid Class 10 and 12 pass certificates from a recognised board or institution. Apart from this the minimum age to apply is 17.5 years, while the maximum age limit is 27 years as of April 30, 2024.
However candidates belonging to SC and ST candidates will be given age relaxation as per government rules. The official notification includes vacancies including Deck Rating, Engine Rating, Sea Man, and Cook posts.
Indian Merchant Navy Recruitment 2024: Application fees
Applicants are required to submit a fee of Rs 100 through online means to successfully complete the application process. According to the official notification, the application fee is same for all positions.
The recruitment process will encompass positions such as Deck Rating, Engine Rating, Sea Man, and Cook. Successful candidates will be entitled to a monthly salary ranging from Rs 3500 to Rs 5500, contingent upon the specific position they secure. Although the precise examination date remains undisclosed, the recruitment proceedings are scheduled to take place in 2024, according to the official notification.
