NEW DELHI: Union finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the Interim Union Budget 2024 in the parliament tomorrow, February 1 under the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government. The India Budget 2024 will be presented in a paperless form this year too.
The budget speech is expected to commence at 11 am tomorrow, February 1. Since 2024 is an election year, the full-fledged budget 2024 will be announced after the Lok Sabha elections.
Union Budget 2024 speech by Nirmala Sitharaman can be watched live on various news channels as well as social media platforms. The official X (formerly Twitter) and Facebook accounts of the Ministry of Finance as well as the Press Information Bureau (PIB) will also host the Budget 2024 live session.
“All the Union Budget documents, including the Annual Financial Statement (commonly known as Budget), Demand for Grants (DG), Finance Bill etc. as prescribed by the Constitution, will available on the “Union Budget Mobile App” for hassle-free access of Budget documents by Members of Parliament (MPs) and the general public using the simplest form of digital convenience. It is bilingual (English & Hindi) and will be available on both Android and iOS platforms. The App can also be downloaded from the Union Budget Web Portal (www.indiabudget.gov.in),” an official statement read.
