IPU CET 2024: Candidates can fill IPU CET application forms 2024 for admission to UG, PG and PhD programmes through the official website, ipu.ac.in.
NEW DELHI: The Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) or IP University has extended the application deadline for the Common Entrance Test (CET). As per the revised schedule, IPU CET application 2024 window will close on April 10. Earlier, the registration deadline was March 31.
Interested candidates who have not yet applied can submit their IPU CET application forms 2024 for admission to undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD programmes through the official website, ipu.ac.in.
To register for the examination, candidates will need to submit an application fee of Rs 1,500. As previously announced, the GGSIPU CET will take place from April 27 to May 14. IP University counselling is scheduled to commence in early June and wrap up by July 31 for various programs. The upcoming academic session is set to begin on August 1.
CUET scores will also be considered
This year, the university will also consider scores from the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). However, admissions based on CUET merit will be conducted only after the merit list of the university's own GGSIPU CET 2024 has been fully utilized.
For undergraduate (UG) programs, candidates must successfully complete their Class 12 exams, while for postgraduate (PG) programs, possessing a degree from a recognized university is mandatory. Additionally, the university has established subject-specific eligibility criteria.
The IPU CET 2024 examination does not determine admissions for BE/BTech programs. Instead, admissions to BE/BTech and BArch programs are solely based on JEE Main scores. Those planning to participate in the Indraprastha University (IPU) 2024 counseling sessions after taking the JEE Main 2024 exam can register and complete the online choice-filling process on the official website at ipu.admissions.nic.in.
