ISB launches 20-month PGP in management for early career professionals; selection process

NEW DELHI: The Indian School of Business (ISB) has launched a 20-month Post Graduate Programme in Management for Young Leaders (PGP YL). As per the ISB official press release, this full-time, residential MBA-equivalent program is designed for high-potential candidates with up to 2 years of full-time work experience.

According to an ISB press release, starting in mid-2025, ISB’s PGP YL will deliver a thorough educational experience through an innovative curriculum. This programme is designed to address the fast-changing business environment and technological advancements. As per ISB, the research-based curriculum will integrate core business principles with advanced technology, data, analytics, and global viewpoints to cultivate students into creative problem solvers.

ISB PGP LY: Fee and scholarship

The ISB PGP YL programme fee for 2025-27 is Rs 21,65,000 plus GST, with an additional accommodation fee of Rs 3,95,000. Scholarships will be granted to 40-50% of the students based on merit and merit-cum-need criteria, with some merit-based scholarships potentially covering up to 100% of the tuition fees for qualified candidates.

ISB PGP: Selection process

To apply for the PGP YL program, students are required to provide a valid GMAT, GRE, or CAT score, along with their educational qualifications and, if applicable, work experience details. The admissions process involves evaluating candidates on their academic achievements, application essays, and test scores. Shortlisted candidates will then undergo personal interviews with a panel of senior industry professionals, academics, and ISB alumni.

Experiential learning

According to ISB, the PGP YL curriculum includes experiential learning elements, such as a business design lab and an innovation lab. Students will also need to complete a compulsory two-month summer internship, offering hands-on experience in diverse business environments. The programme will be taught by distinguished faculty from ISB and other leading international business schools.
