NEW DELHI: The Indian Statistical Institute (ISI) has released a notice for the ISI admission test 2023. The ISI admission test online applications will be commence on March 7, 2023 at isical.ac.in. The ISI admission test 2023 is scheduled on May 14, 2023.
GATE 2026: Sample Papers
The ISI admission test application last date is on April 5, 2023. The candidates that will be able to complete their qualifying examination before July 31, 2023 are also eligible to apply. Candidates will be receive a stipend according to the academic programme chosen.

ISI admission test 2023- programmes and eligibility
Candidates with a valid GATE 2023 score above a threshold in their subject will be eligible for admission through direct interview. Candidates can check the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) eligibility at the official website - isical.ac.in.
- Statistics programme : The candidates that wish to apply for the three-year bachelor of statistics programme are required to successfully complete 10+2 or higher education equivalent with mathematics and English as subjects. This programme is only available in Kolkata. The candidates will receive a stipend of Rs 5,000 per month. The master of statistics programme requires a bachelor's degree of three or more years in any discipline. The programme is available in Delhi. Stipend offered is Rs 8,000 per month.
- Mathematics programme: The candidates applying for the bachelor of mathematics programme must have a 10+2 or higher education equivalent with mathematics and English as subjects. It is available in Bengaluru with a stipend of Rs 5,000 per month. The two-year master's degree requires a bachelor's degree for three or more years in any discipline. The programme is offered in Kolkata and Delhi with a stipend of Rs 8,000 per month.
- Science programme: The bachelor's degree in quantitative economics is offered at Kolkata and Delhi; quality management science is available at Bengaluru and Hyderabad; library and information science will be available at Bengaluru. All programmes mention required a bachelors degree for three or more years in any discipline and have a Rs 8,000 stipend per month.
- Two-year technology master programmes: Computer science; cryptology and security and quality, reliability and operations research courses require a four-year BTech or BE or an equivalent degree in any stream or a master's degree in any subject and have passed mathematics at the 10+2 level in Kolkata with Rs 12,400 per month as stipend.
- O ne-year postgraduate diploma: Statistical methods and analytics required a three-year bachelor degree in any discipline with math as a subject or an BE or BTech degree or any other equivalent qualification. The course is offered at ISI NE centre at Tezpur and Chennai.
- Coursera programmes: One year PG diploma in agriculture al and rural management with statistical methods and analytics; applied statistics requires a graduate degree in any subject and mathematics at the school level.

ISI admission test 2023- application procedure
The candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the written tests and interviews conducted by the institute subject to satisfying the minimum academic qualification. Due consideration is given to OBC, SC, ST, PwD, EWS candidates for all programmes. There are supernumerary seats for female candidates (SSFC) in the undergraduate programmes.
All interested candidates must apply online thought the official website. Overseas applicants must also apply online. However, they must take the ISI Admission Test at test centers located in India.
Application Fee (for all academic programmes)
- ₹1500.00 for all Male applicants in the unreserved (General) category
- ₹1000.00 for all Female applicants in the unreserved (General) category
- ₹750.00 for reserved (ONC-NCL/SC/ST/PwD/EWS) category candidates
