NEW DELHI: Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) will close the secondary and intermediate scrutiny registration process today. Students who are not satisfied with the JAC 10th and 12th results 2024 will be eligible to apply for scrutiny through the official website, jac.jharkhand.gov.in. This year, the JAC 12th science, commerce and arts students recorded an overall pass percentage of 85.88% and the performance of Class 10 students stood at 90.39%.
Students who secured a minimum aggregate marks of 35 in each subject have been declared pass. The Jharkhand Board scrutiny fees for Class 10th is Rs 450 per subject and Rs 750 for Class 12 inter students. "Last date for submission of the scrutiny application form (all process up to payment) is 17.5.2024 till 8 pm. Apply early to avoid last minute rush," the board said.
The state board said that the scrutiny will be valid only for the theory exam and the marks obtained in practical and internal assessment will not be considered.
The Jharkhand Board said that during the scrutiny of answer sheets, the board will consider the following points.
Additionally, the board clarified to the students applying for scrutiny that the questions will not be re-evaluated and the chances of increase in marks is less. Therefore, it advised students who have failed in exams to apply for JAC supplementary exams 2024 to improve their scores.
“Application forms sent after the prescribed date or through post, courier, e-mail or any other means will not be accepted for scrutiny,” it said.
