JAC Chandigarh 2026 choice filling begins at jacchd.admissions.nic.in; mock allotment on July 7

Candidates can fill and submit their college and course preferences for JAC Chandigarh 2026 counselling till July 6.
The Joint Admission Committee (JAC) Chandigarh has commenced the round 1 choice filling process for Bachelor of Technology (BTech) counselling 2026. Eligible candidates can fill their preferred colleges and courses through the official website at jacchd.admissions.nic.in.
According to the official counselling schedule, candidates will be allowed to complete the JAC Chandigarh 2026 choice-filling process till July 6. The mock counselling result will be announced on July 7, while the choice-locking facility will remain open from July 8 to July 9.
The JAC Chandigarh round 1 seat allotment result will be declared on July 10 after 8 pm. Candidates allotted seats will have to submit the online fee and confirm their willingness to participate in further counselling rounds between July 10 and July 13.

JAC Chandigarh conducts counselling for admission to BTech and BArch programmes offered by participating institutes, including University Institute of Engineering and Technology (UIET), Chandigarh College of Engineering and Technology (CCET), Dr SS Bhatnagar University Institute of Chemical Engineering and Technology, and University Institute of Chemical Engineering and Technology. Admissions are done on the basis of JEE Main 2026 scores.
Candidates are advised to arrange their course and college preferences carefully before locking the choices. Once locked, the submitted choices cannot be modified.

- Click the link “Choice Filling for JAC Chandigarh Counselling 2026” available on the home page
- On the next page, log in using JEE Main application number and password
- After logging in, select and arrange your preferred institutes and branches in order of priority before saving and locking the final choices.

The counselling process will be conducted in multiple rounds, followed by special and spot rounds for vacant seats.
