JAC Delhi counselling 2024 registration to begin after May 15; participating institutes

JAC Counselling 2024: A total of 6,666 seats in engineering offered by the five participating institutions, and 90 seats in BArch courses will be filled through JEE Main.
NEW DELHI: Joint Admission Committee (JAC) Delhi counselling registration will begin after May 15 for candidates seeking admission into engineering, architecture, and management programmes offered by Delhi Government-funded universities. Along with the JAC Delhi application form 2024, the conducting authorities will also issue information brochure, seat matrix, and counselling schedule at the official website, jacdelhi.admissions.nic.in.

Last year, Netaji Subhas University of Technology was responsible for coordinating institutions for JAC. BTech admissions are offered through Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main 2024) score. Through JAC Delhi counselling, a total of 6,666 seats in engineering offered by the five participating institutions, and 90 seats in BArch offered by two participating institutions were filled in the previous year.
Candidates will be given a month time period to complete the registration process. Here’s the list of participating universities.
- Delhi Technological University (DTU),
- Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW),
- Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi (IIITD),
- Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT)
- Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University (DSEU).
Applicants will have to pay Rs 1,500 plus transaction charges to register for JAC Counselling. While filling the registration form, candidates will have to upload the following documents.
- Receipt of the seat acceptance fee payment.
- Online registration form duly signed by guardian or parent and candidate.
- Printout of filled choices after closing of registration.
- Three passport size photographs.
- Printout of JEE admit card and score card 2024.
- Class 12 marks sheet and seat allotment letter.
- Seat allotment letter downloaded from jacdelhi.admissions.nic.in.
- Date of birth certificate as indicated in Class 10 high school or equivalent examination.
- Bonus Point documents, if eligible for IIIT-D bonus point.
- Reserved category or sub-category certificate.
- Medical fitness certificate.
The registration is for first round counselling. Candidates will have to submit the choice of courses and college in the order of their preference. Those who have obtained the minimum JAC cut-off will be offered admission in the order of merit.
