Download NowNEW DELHI, SEPTEMBER 5 : JAM Application Form 2019 has been announced by IIT Kharagpur on September 5, 2018. The application form of JAM 2018 has been announced online. Candidates who wish to apply for the M.Sc programmes offered in the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and Indian Institute of Science Bangalore (IISc), need to fill and submit the online application by October 10, 2018. Candidates will also need to pay an application fee in the online mode through the various payment modes available. Candidates are also required to upload all the necessary documents while submitting the application form.

Am I eligible?
The candidates belonging to General and OBC categories applying for the IIT Joint Admission Test need to be eligible for filling JAM 2019 application form. According to the eligibility of JAM 2019, candidates need to have completed their bachelor’s degree programme in the respective subject with securing a minimum of 55 per cent marks in aggregate of the subjects or a 5.5 CGPA.
The candidates belonging to SC, ST and PwD categories need to score a minimum of 50 per cent or a 5.0 CGPA in their qualifying examination.
How to apply for JAM 2019?
Candidates can apply for JAM 2019 through the JAM Online Application Processing System (JOAPS). In the registration process, candidates must provide a valid e-mail ID and mobile number. After the registration process is completed, candidates will receive a confirmation following which they will be directed to the application form.
How to pay JAM application fees?
Candidates belonging to the Feneral and OBC category need to pay an application fee of Rs. 1500, while female candidates and candidates belonging to the SC/ST and PwD categories need to pay an application fee of Rs 750.
Candidates who complete their application process successfully will be able to download their JAM 2019 admit card from January 4, 2019.
JAM 2019
JAM also known as Joint Admission Test for M.Sc programmes is an entrance exam conducted for the admissions to the postgraduate programmes offered by IIT’s and IISc Bangalore. IIT JAM 2019 will be conducted on February 10, 2019. There are as many as 20 subjects for which JAM 2019 will be held. The various offered programmes are M.Sc, Joint M.Sc-Ph.D, M.Sc Ph.D dual programme, integrated PhD, M.Sc- M.Tech and M.Sc-M.S (Research).
