IIT Guwahati will conduct the JAM on February 12, 2023. The JAM will be held for admission to 3000 seats in various postgraduate programmes at IITs.
Candidates can download JAM previous year's papers to boost their exam preparation.

NEW DELHI:
Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati will close the JAM 2022 registration process today. Candidates interested to appear in the Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM) can apply through the official website - jam.iitg.ac.in. Candidates need to visit the JAM Online Application Processing System (JOAPS) to access the application form.

“Candidates are strongly advised to fill the application form on their own. If someone else is filling the application on behalf of the candidate, the candidate must ensure that the data submitted are correct,” reads the official notification on the website.
The notification further added, “Candidates must give an e-mail address that they use frequently, as all communication to the candidate for JAM 2023 will be sent to this e-mail address.”
How to apply for JAM 2023

Visit the official website - jam.iitg.ac.in.

On the home page, click on the ‘JAM 2023 Application Portal’.

Now, register on the JOAPS website, by entering your name, a valid e-mail address, an active mobile number and setting a password.

The enrolment ID and OTP will be sent to the e-mail address and mobile number.

Login with the same credentials and fill the remaining fields.

Upload the photograph and signatures in the prescribed format.

Check all the details and submit the application form.
JAM is a computer-based test, scheduled to be held on February 12, 2023. JAM will be conducted in seven different subjects namely, biotechnology (BT), chemistry (CY), economics (EN), geology (GG), mathematical statistics (MS), mathematics (MA), physics (PH).
The score obtained in JAM 2023 can be used for admission to over 3000 seats in the various PG programmes at IITs, and for over 2300 seats by various CFTIs including NITs, IISc, DIAT, IIEST, IISER Pune, IISER Bhopal, IIPE, JNCASR, SLIET.
