Jamia Millia Islamia: CDOE opens admission to online programmes

The Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE), Jamia Millia Islamia is calling for applications for online courses. Last date to apply is November 30.
NEW DELHI: The Jamia Millia Islamia’s Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE) has opened admissions to online programmes.

Currently, JMI is offering admissions for the following online programmes - Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Commerce (BCom), MA (English), MA (Hindi), MA (History), MA (Urdu), MA (Political), MA (Sociology) and MCom, as per a statement from the university.
The university has also opened admission for the Post Graduate Diploma in Guidance and Counselling and Post Graduate Diploma in Geoinformatics.

Students can apply at the official websites - jmicoe.in, jmi.ac.in. The last date for submission of application forms is November 30, 2021. Verification of documents and payment of fees will start from December 1, 2021 onwards. The candidates are required to complete the admission process latest by December 6, 2021.
“Applicants are advised to read the information given carefully and ensure their eligibility before submission of online admission application form. No application form will be accepted after the last date of its submission,” the university statement said.

The university will notify about admission for distance programmes later, it said.
JMI Application Form 2021-22: Documents required
Candidates have to keep the following items ready before applying for the online UG or PG courses.
- Email id
- Mobile number
- Scanned photo
- Scanned signature
- Credit card, Net banking or ATM-cum-Debit card
Meanwhile, recently, Jamia Millia Islamia’s professor Shakeel Ahmed who served as MK Gandhi Chair professor has been elected as Fellow of The World Academy of Sciences (Italy) for advancement of science in a developing country.
