Jammu & Kashmir Board announces Result of Class 10

NEW DELHI, MAY 2: Jammu & Kashmir State Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has announced the results of its Class 10 Board examinations 2018.

As per media reports, the top 10 positions were shared by 26 students (15 boys and 11 girls) of the Science stream. The first position was bagged by Japleen Kaur of Government Higher Secondary School, Shastri Nagar, who secured 98.2%. Aryan Gupta (97.6%) secured the second position whereas Anshika Aggarwal (97.4%) stands at the third position.

The JK Board conducted 10th board exam in Kashmir from February 27 to March 17 while in Jammu, it was held from March 6 to 19, 2018.

Students who appeared for the exam can check their result by submitting their roll number in the login page. The result which is declared online is provisional. The Board will soon issue original mark sheets, which candidates can obtain in person from their respective schools.

Students will also be able to check the Jammu & Kashmir 10th board result via SMS. To do so, they have to type JKBOSE10<space>Roll number and send it to 5676750. JK Board result 2018 consists of details such candidate’s name, registration and roll number, subject-wise marks obtained in each subject (theory as well as practical), qualifying status, etc. Grades and grade points. 

Jammu & Kashmir Board administers Board examination for Class 10 and 12 for Jammu, Kashmir, Leh and Kargil divisions. Over 4,225 schools are currently affiliated to JKBOSE. The board is responsible for all activities related to he secondary education in the state including exam operations, declaration of results, preparation of syllabus etc.
