The board informed candidates that only those who had earlier submitted representations under the provisions of clause 4 of advertisement no. JCECEB/40/26-24 dated June 23, 2026, will be considered for corrections in the JCECEB state merit list .
Candidates whose names appear in the state merit list published on July 5, 2026, and who had already requested corrections in details such as category, gender, TFW/PTG status, or other relevant particulars have been directed to submit a fresh application on July 16, 2026.
Applicants will have to clearly mention the required corrections and send the application along with supporting documents through email to jceceb@gmail.com.
The board clarified that ST/SC, BC-I (NCL), BC-II (NCL), and Income and Asset (EWS) certificates will be accepted only if they are issued in accordance with the prescribed provisions. For EWS candidates, the certificate must be issued by an officer not below the rank of a Sub-Divisional Officer (Civil) in Jharkhand.
As per the notice, the requests received from the candidates after July 16, 2026, or without the required supporting documents will not be entertained under any circumstances.
The applications submitted on July 16 will be scrutinised by the board, and eligible corrections in the JCECEB state merit list will be made between July 17 and 19, 2026.
