NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur has released the JEE Advanced 2021 exam day guidelines at jeeadv.ac.in. Candidates who are going to appear in the JEE Advanced 2021 must check the exam day guidelines carefully and adhere to them. IITK will conduct the JEE Advanced 2021 exam on October 3.

As per the advisory for candidates related to COVID-19, adequate measures will be implemented for the safety of all without compromising the high standards, sanctity, and fairness in conduct of the IIT JEE Advanced 2021 exam. Candidates are required to adhere to the JEE Advanced exam guidelines to ensure their own safety & health and also of their fellow candidates.
Candidates will have to carry the self-declaration form, and a photo id-card, along with admit card to the JEE Advanced 2021 exam center. No candidate will be allowed to enter the exam center without duly filled and valid documents.

Standard Operating Procedures for implementing safety precautions and for maintaining required standards of hygiene will be implemented at the exam centre of JEE Advanced 2021.
Before the commencement of each paper, the entire seating area will be thoroughly sanitized - monitor, keyboard, mouse, webcam, desk and the chair. All door handles, staircase railing, lift buttons, etc., will be disinfected.
Sanitizers will be provided at all the major points at the exam center
Barcode readers will be present at the entry point of the test centre to scan the barcode on the JEE Advanced 2021 admit card. Details regarding the lab/hall/room number will be informed to the candidate after reading the barcode.
A scribble pad will be kept at each candidate's desk before the start of each paper by invigilators wearing gloves to ensure hygiene.

Candidates should wear a mask all the time inside and outside the exam centre. Also, applicants are advised to carry their own bottle of sanitizer as well as their own transparent bottle of water.
Candidates will have to sanitize their hands by washing with soap and with hand sanitizer before entry into the JEE Advanced 2021 exam centre.
At the time of entry, the invigilators will check the filled in COVID-19 self-declaration (Undertaking) on the admit card, and the body temperature (using Thermo Guns). Also, the staff will guide the candidate to respective labs after scanning the barcode on the admit card.
After the start of JEE Advanced 2021 paper 2 exam, candidates have to hand-over the admit card [duly filled and signed COVID-19 self-declaration (Undertaking)] to the invigilator.
Students have to mark their attendance in each of the papers by signing in beside their name in the space provided on the roll list.
JEE Advanced 2021 will be conducted on September 3, 2021, in two parts, ie. Paper 1, and Paper 2. Only the candidates appearing in both the papers will in both the exams be evaluated and graded
