JEE Advanced 2025 Result: 54,378 qualify for IIT admissions; up 12.7% compared to last year

A total of 1,87,223 candidates, who qualified JEE Mains 2025, applied for JEE Advanced. Of which, 1,80,422 candidates appeared and 54,378 qualified. The national-level exam also witnessed a slight increase in participation this year.
Last year, 1,86,584 registered for the exam, out of which, 1,80,200 appeared and 48,248 qualified. Additionally, only 17,695 candidates were allotted seats, indicating that only 1 out of 10 candidates are successful in getting admission in IITs.
Compared to the previous year, the pass rate is up by 12.7%. Gender-wise performance of candidates have also improved this year, with more number of male and female candidates qualifying for JoSAA counselling.
Rajit Gupta of IIT Delhi zone has emerged as the topper of JEE Advanced 2025 by securing 332 marks out of 360. Devdutta Majhi secured top rank among female candidates with AIR 16.
