IIT Roorkee concluded the JEE advanced exam on May 17 while it released the provisional answer key on May 25 at jeeadv.ac.in
The institute will declare the final results on June 1. Once the results are declared students selected will proceed for choice filling and counselling from June 2 in different IITs through Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JOSAA).
Last year as many as six rounds of counselling through JOSAA took place with branches like Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) being the top choice among students in almost all IIT. This year also branches like CSE are likely going to be the top choice.

As per the expected JoSAA counselling timeline, mock Seat allotment 1 is likely to be conducted around June 8, 2026, followed by mock seat allotment 2 around June 10, 2026.
