The JEE Advanced 2026 cut-off for general category candidates for engineering admissions stand at 92 out of 360 marks, showing an increase of 1.47 % in the IIT admissions.

The Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IIT Roorkee) has declared the Joint Entrance Examination Advanced (JEE Advanced) 2026 results. The JEE Advanced 2026 cut-offs for general category candidates for engineering admissions stands at 92 out of 360 marks (25.56%) in aggregate and 8 out of 120 marks (7.30%) in each subject, showing a rise of 1.47% in the per-subject cut-offs against last year's 5.83%.
The increase in the JEE Advanced 2026 cut-offs for all the categories has seen a rise, indicating tougher qualifying bar for IIT admissions this year. The cut-off marks are the qualifying marks for the Common Rank List (CRL) and admission into the 23 IITs.
The JEE Advanced 2026 cut-offs can be accessed through the official website at jeeadv.ac.in. The cut-off list can be downloaded using the candidate's registration number and date of birth.
The cut-offs are decided on the basis of difficulty level of the exam and the overall performance of the approximately 2.5 lakh candidates eligible to appear on May 17.
After the cut-offs, candidates will have to appear for the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) counselling for the seat allotment process.

To qualify the JEE Advanced 2026, candidates must meet the minimum percentage of marks in each of the three subjects - Physics, Chemistry, and Maths, as well as a minimum total aggregate score across paper 1 and 2.
