NEW DELHI, APRIL 10: National Testing Agency (NTA) has conducted the JEE Main 2019 Paper 1 April 10 session in two slots. The first session of the entrance exam was conducted between 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, whereas the second session was held between 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. JEE Main 2019 Paper 1 was conducted in completely online mode through computer-based test. Entry into the examination hall for the morning session begun from 7:30 AM, in the forenoon session, entry for students started from 1 AM. Students who appeared for the first session (forenoon) of Paper 1 felt that the exam had moderate difficulty. As per the candidates, chemistry was the easiest section of the exam and mostly had questions from NCERT books. However, students felt that Physics was a bit difficult and the Mathematics section was a bit lengthy. Today also most of the students were of the opinion that the question paper of JEE Main April is easier than the January session of JEE Main 2019. A good number of questions in Mathematics came from Integration and circles.

The second session of JEE Main 2019 April 10 concluded at 5:30 PM in the evening. Same as the morning session, in the evening session too felt that the exam had a moderate difficulty level. Students in the afternoon session also felt chemistry was the easiest section and the difficulty level of Physics was high. An overall evaluation of student reactions of Paper 1 pointed out that the April session question paper was easier than the exam held in January 2019. As per students, the Mathematics section was also a bit difficult. Students who appeared section felt that the exam was above the NCERT level and one cannot completely rely on the NCERT books for the preparation.

Based on the direct exam analysis from students, chemistry was the easiest subject in both the sessions of JEE Main 2019 held on April 10. Overall, students feel that the April edition of JEE Main 2019 was easier than the January session. Physics was still the toughest section for almost all the candidates who appeared in today’s exam. We also got to know that Mathematics section in both the sessions was a bit lengthy and consumed the larger portion of their time. Chemistry seemed to be everybody’s favorite as all students felt it was the easiest section of the exam.
