Class 10 CBSE Toppers: 55,368 score 95% or above; no merit list but these students have excelled

CBSE Toppers: As many as 55,368 students have scored 95% or above in the CBSE Class 10 Board results 2026 and 2,21,574 have scored 90% and above. According to the Central Board of Secondary Education, this is 2.24% and 8.96% of the total number of examinees. The CBSE Class 10 board results 2026 were declared today for 27 lakh students. Among the different categories of schools affiliated to the CBSE board, Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs) have achieved the highest pass rate in the CBSE Class 10 exams 2026 of 99.57%, followed by Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) at 99.42%

While, independent schools have registered 93.77%, government schools at 91.43% and government-aided schools 91.01% pass rate in the CBSE Class 10 results 2026.

The overall pass percentage of CBSE 10th result was 93.70% in 2026, a slight increase from 93.66% last year.

CBSE Class 10th Topper: Regions, schools

Trivandrum and Vijaywada regions have recorded the highest past percentage, both 99.79%, in the CBSE Class 10 board results 2026; they were followed by Chennai at 99.58%.

In the north region, Delhi West has recorded a pass percentage of 97.45% and Delhi East, 97.33% in the CBSE Class 10 board results 2026.

Schools across the country have highlighted student’s performance even as the board has discontinued the practice of announcing an official merit list.

Students at SAI International School (SIS) and SAI International Residential School (SIRS) have achieved 100% first-division pass marks. Priyanshu Pritis Dash is the CBSE 10th 2026 topper for the school with 99.6%, followed Soham Mishra with 99.4%, SAI International Education Group said in an official statement. At Rainbow International School Thane, Ahaan Dondilkar has scored 98.6%.

The CBSE 10th topper position at Shiv Nadar School, Noida, is shared by two students, Reet Narula and Gauransh Kaul, both with 99% scores. The Class 10th CBSE topper at VIBGYOR High Gurugram is Arham Jain who has also scored 99%.

Students at Ryan International School in Delhi achieved a pass rate up to 96.4% and 100% in various subject. Akshika Agarwal has topped the CBSE 10th board exams 2026 with 96.4%, scoring 100 marks in maths, followed by Anika Verma with 93.6% and Syed Mohammad Abbas Hasan with 93.4%.

Modern Public School, Shalimar Bagh, Delhi, has seen a pass percentage of 98.8%, with students scoring a perfect 100% in English, mathematics, French, Sanskrit, and PAT. Meanwhile, at Satya School, Gurugram "73% of students scoring above 90% and 28% securing above 95% marks", they said in a statement.
