NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is going to open the JEE Main correction window today on January 27 at jeemain.nta.nic.in. The last date to make corrections in JEE Main 2021 application form is January 30. The JEE Main application correction facility will be available free of cost.

Candidates will have to login using their JEE Main 2021 credentials, such as application number and password for correction in the form. It may be noted that not all the candidate details will be subject to correction through JEE Main correction window. The authorities shall specify such information on JEE Main form correction date.

Details subject to JEE Mains correction in application form 2021

Given below is the list of details that NTA may allow candidates for making correction:

  • Personal information: Details like error in spellings of candidate’s own or his/ her parent’s name, address details, etc.

  • Academic details: Details entered regarding marks obtained in the qualifying examination or name of the education board.

  • Change of paper: Change in choice of paper from Paper 1 to Paper 2 (and vice versa). Candidates may also select both the papers after paying the suitable fee for appearing in the other paper on JEE Main 2021 correction date.

  • Medium of examination: As the authorities are going to conduct JEE Main 2021 in regional languages as well, candidates who missed out on opting for the same can edit through JEE Main correction window.

  • Category: Candidates will get the option to correct the category which they belong to. For candidates who change their category from general to reserved, there will be no refund of fees. On the other hand, if the candidates change their category from reserved to general, they will have to pay the balance fee.


JEE Main 2021 exam date for February session is scheduled from February 23 to 26. The authorities are expected to release JEE Main admit card for February session by the second week of February.
