NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will open the JEE Main 2021 correction window from January 27 at the official website - jeemain.nta.nic.in. The JEE Main application form correction 2021 facility will be open till January 30. Candidates who have registered for the JEE Main 2021 can check the correction date announced by the authorities at the official website.

Note that the JEE edit facility will be provided to only those candidates who have completed registration before JEE Main 2021 application form last date. Through the JEE Main 2021 correction window, candidates will be able to edit the details entered by them during the application process. To make JEE Mains correction in application form 2021, candidates will need their application number and password.

How to edit JEE Form 2021?

To use the JEE Main 2021 application form correction facility, candidates will have to follow the below-given steps:

  • Visit JEE Main 2021 official website - jeemain.nta.nic.in

  • Log in using the JEE application number and password

  • Click on the “JEE Main Correction in Application Form 2021” link

  • Edit the JEE Main application form 2021

  • Click on the “Submit” button

What are the details that can be corrected during the JEE Main form correction date 2021?

The JEE Main correction window will not allow candidates to make corrections in all the fields. However, candidates will be able to edit details such as personal, academic information, preferred language of examination, category, and choice of paper. Note that if the candidates change their category from general to reserved, there will be no refund of fees. However, if the candidates change their category from reserved to general, then they have to pay the balance fee.

The NTA had concluded the JEE Main 2021 application process on January 23 while the payment of application fee could be done till January 24.

On January 19, the union education minister, Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’, announced the decision to waive off the 75% marks eligibility criteria under JEE Main for the next academic year 2021-22.

The NTA JEE Main 2021 is scheduled to be conducted four times a year - February, March, April and May. As per the announced JEE main 2021 exam date, the first session will be held from February 23 to 26.
