New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has conducted shift 1 of JEE Main 2021 exam Day 3 at 12 noon (Phase 3). Before the JEE Main 2021 exam commenced, students were reported to arrive at the centres wearing masks and proper COVID-19 guidelines were strictly followed by the authorities. The JEE Main 2021 exam was held for BE/BTech courses and the subjects include Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

As per the JEE Main exam pattern 2021, paper 1 consist of a total of 90 questions of which 25 questions each from Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics. Students have to attempt 75 questions only. Each subject has 20 multiple choice questions and 10 numerical questions (any 5 numerical questions are compulsory).

The JEE Main 2021 Maths question paper was lengthy and calculative. The Mathematics paper was difficult as compared to Physics and Chemistry.

The overall difficulty level of the Physics paper was moderate. The question paper was balanced and the questions were asked from almost every topic.

Chemistry

Easy

The JEE Main 2021 question paper was balanced for physcial organic and inorganic. Most of the questions were asked from NCERT. Also, Physical organic questions were of integer type.


JEE Main exam analysis 2021 for July 25 shift 1 by FIITJEE

FIITJEE has released the JEE Main 2021 exam analysis for July 2 shift 1 exam. As per the analysis, overall, Mathematics & Chemistry were moderate while Physics was easiest amongst the three subjects.

Mathematics – Moderate level. Questions were asked from all chapters. Few Numerical Based questions required lengthy calculations. Weightage was given to Chapter of Conic Sections & Probability which had more than one question. Some students reported this section Tough.

Physics – Easy level. Questions asked from Kinematics, Laws of Motion, Fluids, Current Electricity & AC Circuits. It was a balanced section as far as coverage of chapters is considered. Numerical based questions were easy. More weightage was given to Communication Systems and Modern Physics.

Chemistry - Moderate level. Organic Chemistry was given more weightage. Inorganic Chemistry had mostly questions from NCERT. Chapters like Environmental Chemistry, Chemistry in Everyday life, Biomolecules were given more weightage. Inorganic Chemistry had questions from P-block elements. Physical chemistry had questions in the Numerical based section only.

NTA is conducting the third phase JEE Main 2021 exam on July 20, 22, 25 & 27 as a computer-based test. Day 1 and 2 of JEE Main exam was conducted by NTA successfully. The first shift of July 25 has been completed successfully. The 2nd slot of day 3 of JEE Main exam will begin at 3 pm and conclude at 6 pm today.
