The experts of Aakash Institute have released the JEE Main 2021 question paper analysis for July 25 shift 2 exam. Check JEE Main analysis below-
It was a paper of Easy to Moderate level. Physics was the easiest of the lot whereas Mathematics was of easy to moderate level with slightly lengthy calculations involved. Chemistry too was easy to moderate levels. A detailed subject wise analysis is given below.
The paper was by and large based on NCERT books. Eight of the numerical based questions were from Physical Chemistry and the remaining two from Organic Chemistry. Overall the questions from Physical, Organic and Inorganic branches were evenly distributed. A thorough study of the NCERT books, solving NCERT examplar and mock tests based on NCERT is the guarantee of success in these type of tests.
According to a sizeable number of students, Physics part was the easiest of the lot. 3 to 4 questions from Current Electricity and Electrostatics, 3 to 4 questions from Kinematics, 2 to 3 questions from Ray Optics and 3 questions from magnetics were there in the paper. Other chapters were also included in due proportions. There were a good number of numericals which were largely formula based. Solving a good number of mock tests would prove to be a better strategy.
Mathematics paper was easy but slightly time taking due to lengthy calculations involved. A few good questions were interspersed sporadically. Questions were asked from Calculus, Coordinate Geometry, Vectors & 3D and Algebra. Almost all the topics were covered. Again, practice through mock tests holds the key.
Overall, it was a balanced paper that can be solved in the stipulated time. The difficulty level wise order is
Difficulty- Mathematics > Chemistry > Physics

No, 72 percentile is not good for JEE Main 2021 since there is a vast competition for JEE and the number of students appearing had been increasing rapidly. But if you are of SC or ST caste then there is a chance of getting a good college and good branch but if you don't have any reservation then it's quite difficult to get a seat at 72 percentile.
As of recent trends, 200 is the basic score to grab a seat for yourself in the top institutes including NITs. Check some of the tips to score more than 200 in JEE Main 2021-
Candidates willing to get admission in IITs have to first appear in JEE Main 2021 exam. Next, students have to appear in the JEE Advanced 2021 exam. It should be noted that only the top 2,50,000 JEE Main rank holders are eligible for appearing in JEE Advanced 2021. Those shortlisted on the basis of JEE Advanced scores will be eligible for counselling and will be considered for final admission.
Candidates can check the procedure to get admission in NITs below-
Step 1: Filling JEE Main 2021 application form
Step 2: Appearing in JEE Main 2021
Step 3: JOSAA Registration 2021
Step 4: Allocation and locking of seat
Step 5: Document Verification
Candidates appearing for the JEE Main 2021 session 3 and session 4 can check the important tips provided by JEE toppers here-
Siddhant Mukherjee (JEE Main 2021 topper for February session) suggests solving more previous year JEE Main question papers. Identify the topics with higher weightage or the ones that need more extensive preparation. Do not panic with the feeling before a couple of days that you are forgetting everything, it’s natural. Also, avoid comparing with other students as it will drain out all your energy and confidence.
Parth Dwivedi, JEE Main 2020 topper, says, “I would like to say that I will keep working hard. It doesn't matter if you have succeeded or not. Failures will come. How you deal with failures is what matters. Most of the problems are not external but it’s our mind that makes the problems much bigger than they are.”
Candidates should keep in mind some of the important tips to avoid negative marking in the JEE Main July 25 exam. Some of the tips are-
Candidates must read all the questions and instructions during the JEE Main 2021 exam carefully.
Do not be in a hurry.
Avoid any guesswork during the exam as this will only lead to negative marking in case of wrong guesswork.
Don’t panic about the number of questions you have attempted; focus on correctly answered questions.
