NEW DELHI: The JEE Main 2021 exam saw a record number of applications in its history with more than 21 lakh registered candidates for all the four sessions. JEE Main 2021 February exam alone has more than 6.5 lakh candidates for Paper 1 (BE/BTech) and Paper 2 (BArch/ BPlan). NTA has set up 828 exam centres for JEE Main 2021 paper 1 while the JEE Main 2021 paper 2 was held at 437 centres.

The NTA has also set up a central control room for JEE Main 2021 which is being monitored by two national coordinators, 19 regional coordinators, six special coordinators, 261 city coordinators and around 700 observers.

JEE Main 2021 Category and Gender-wise Distribution of Candidates

In a first, JEE Main 2021 exam is being held in 13 languages which include English, Hindi and 11 regional languages. Earlier, JEE Main was held in English, Hindi and Gujarati languages only.

In view of the COVID-19 pandemic, the NTA has implemented strict guidelines at all the exam centres and social distancing, temperature check, sanitisation rules are being followed as per the guidelines.

JEE Main 2021 February exam will conclude on February 26. The NTA will announce the JEE Main 2021 result by March 7. JEE Main 2021 answer key by various coaching institutes has been released.
