Predict NowNew Delhi: The International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Hyderabad has released the application form for the candidates who interested to get admission to BTech courses directly without JEE Main score. A special channel of admission (SPEC) has been launched by IIIT Hyderabad for its two BTech courses including Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) and Computer Science and Engineering (CSE).

This SPEC mode is aimed at identifying students with extraordinary talent or backgrounds. There are 10 seats each in the BTech course allocated for ECE and CSE streams. Candidates can submit the SPEC BTech application form 2021 till May 10, 2021.
IIIT Hyderabad admission 2021: SPEC eligibility criteria
Before filling the SPEC BTech application form 2021, candidates need to check the eligibility criteria carefully.

Students should have passed Class 12 or equivalent with mathematics, physics, and chemistry subjects.

He/ She studied for the UDAAN scheme of CBSE.

Students pursued at a Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) at least for the last two years (Class 11 and 12).

He/ She enrolled in the 4th semester of an integrated course currently (6 years, 12th + BTech course after class 10).
How to fill IIIT Hyderabad SPEC BTech application form 2021
Students can follow the detailed instructions below to apply for the special channel of admission (SPEC).

Go to the official website - iiit.ac.in .

Click on the “Undergraduate” link under the “Admission” tab.

Then, click on the “Special Channel of Admission (SPEC)” link.

Candidates will have to provide the required details carefully to complete the registration process.

After that log in using the valid credentials to fill in other details and upload necessary documents.

They have to pay the application fee of Rs 500 in online mode.

Finally, take the printout of the same for future use.
IIIT Hyderabad SPEC BTech admission procedure 2021: Students need to appear for a computer-based entrance test which will be conducted by IIIT Hyderabad on June 2, 2021. The exam will be conducted for 60 minutes to test the students on subject proficiency. The shortlisted candidates from this entrance exam will have to clear an interview to get admission. The final decision will be based on the performance of the candidates in the interview.
IIIT Hyderabad has also released the BTech application form for admissions through UGEE, Olympiad/ KVPY, LEEE, and DASA UG. The application form of IIIT Hyderabad BTech admission will be released for JEE Main mode soon. The process of the IIIT Hyderabad 2021 BTech admission will differ based on the mode that the candidates are chosen.
