NEW DELHI: Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ has announced JEE Main 2021 dates. JEE Main 2021 will be conducted from February 23 to 26 for the first session. The official announcement has been made through Ramesh Pokhriyal’s Twitter account.

Interested candidates looking for JEE Main 2021 latest updates may note that various changes have been introduced this year. Given below are the pointers highlighted by Pokhriyal while providing the JEE Main dates 2021:
JEE Main 2021 exam date announced: To be conducted from February 23 to 26, 2021.
JEE Main exam will be held in four sessions in February, March, April and May.
Candidates will be able to apply for more than one sessions during JEE Main 2021 registration.
Multiple sessions will help overcome the dilemma of state lockdowns or board examinations.
With the conduct of exams in four sessions, candidates will get a better chance to improve their JEE Main score.
While CBSE reduced 30% of syllabus, there are several boards who are yet to make any announcement regarding the same. Thus to deal with this, there will be 90 questions and candidates will have to attempt only 75 questions. For 15 questions in JEE Main question paper, there will be no provision of negative marking as well.
JEE Main 2021 will be conducted in regional languages as well. In a first, JEE Main will be conducted in 13 languages.
As JEE Main pattern 2021 is changed, English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Marathi, Malayalam, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu are the languages candidates can opt out.
With UPSEE being scrapped, engineering institutes of Uttar Pradesh are also going to participate for JEE Main 2021
With this, the JEE Main 2021 form can be expected anytime soon. NTA may soon announce JEE Main 2021 updates on the official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in.
