JEE Main 2021 paper 1 to start from tomorrow; More than 6.5 lakh candidates to appear

NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the JEE Main 2021 paper 1 for BE/BTech from tomorrow, February 24. JEE Main 2021 paper 1 will be held for three days till February 26 in two shifts each day.

JEE Main 2021 shift 1 timings are 9 AM to 12 PM while shift 2 timings are 3 PM to 6 PM. Candidates appearing for the JEE Main 2021 paper 1 should carry all important documents like JEE Main 2021 admit card, undertaking form, valid photo ID proof and PwD certificate (if claiming reservation).

JEE Main 2021 paper 1 will be conducted online and will be of a duration of 3 hours having 90 questions. The question paper will have three sections- physics, chemistry and mathematics. However, out of the 90 questions candidates will have to attempt only 75 questions as the NTA has given options to candidates in attempting questions with numerical value as answers.

As per the official JEE Main 2021 statistics by the NTA, a total of 6,61,776 candidates registered for the February session of the exam. Out of this, 6,52,627 candidates will be appearing for the JEE Main Paper 1 (BE/BTech).

JEE Main 2021 Paper 2 for BArch and BPlan paper was conducted on February 23. As per the student reactions, all the JEE Main 2021 exam day guidelines were followed at the exam centres.
