NEW DELHI: The highest Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main rank at which a National Institute of Technology (NIT) closed admission to unreserved seats for BTech in Computer Science and Engineering in the year 2021 was 714 at NIT Trichy or NIT Tiruchirapalli for candidates from outside Tamil Nadu.
Students who aspire to take admission to BTech in Computer Science and Engineering in the NITs will be given admission based on their JEE Main 2022 rank. They will have to register for the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) counselling 2022.

The JEE Main 2022 April session will be held on April 21, 24, 25, 29, May 1 and 4. The last date to register for the entrance exam was April 5. The JEE Main admit card 2022 date will be updated on the official website - jeemain.nta.nic.in 2022 soon.

Last year, six rounds of JoSAA counselling were held and the home and outside closing ranks of the unreserved category for BTech Computer Science admission at NITs are given in the table below.
