NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the Central University Entrance Test (CUET 2022) application form for admissions to undergraduate (UG) programmes in central universities on April 6. For CUET 2022 registration, students have to visit the official website cuet.samarth.ac.in or cucet.nta.nic.in and fill the CUET application form before the deadline.

The University of Delhi on Tuesday announced DU admission process for the academic year 2022-23. The Delhi University (DU) will offer admission to UG courses through CUET 2022 scores and the merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks scored by the candidates in CUET 2022.
UGC chairman, M Jagadesh Kumar has announced that 25 state universities in Karnataka have agreed to adopt CUET 2022 scores for UG admissions 2022. Earlier, central universities like English and Foreign Languages University, Allahabad University and Delhi University have announced that undergraduate admissions will be done through the marks secured by students in CUET entrance test 2022.

The CUET 2022 will be conducted in two slots - first slot for a duration of 195 minutes (3:15 hours) and second for 225 minutes (3:45 hours). “AUD is the first state university to opt for CUET exam for admission 2022-23,” Anu Singh, vice chancellor, Ambedkar University, said during a press conference this morning. The merit list for Ambedkar University UG admissions will not be based on Class 12 marks now.

Candidates of general category have to pay an application fee of Rs. 650 to apply for CUET 2022, while candidates belonging to general-EWS or OBC-NCL have to remit Rs. 600 as application fee. The candidates of PwBD, SC, ST, third gender category will have to pay an application fee of Rs. 550.

Speaking to Careers360 an NTA official has confirmed that the application process of CUET 2022 and NEET UG 2022 will begin by tomorrow. Earlier, an NTA official told Careers360 that the NEET UG application 2022 will begin by April 10 and the examination is expected to be held in July.

Admissions to eighth undergraduate courses will be done through CUET entrance test 2022 this year. These courses are BVoc Solar Energy, BA Hons History, BSc Biotechnology, BA (Hons) Sanskrit, BA (Hons)French and Francophone studies, BA (Hons) Economics, BA (Hons) Hindi and BA (Hons) Spanish and Latin American Studies.

As per the basic eligibility criteria of CUET 2022, for UG courses candidates must have passed Class 10+2 or equivalent examination by a school board or 10+3 diploma approved by a state board of technical education with a minimum of 50% marks. The Delhi University’s Vice Chancellor, Yogesh Singh on Tuesday announced that the admissions to minority colleges like Jesus and Mary College, SGTB Khalsa College and St Stephen’s College will also be done through CUET 2022. The merit list will be prepared by 85% weightage of CUET entrance test 2022 scores and remaining 15% weightage will be decided by colleges.
