NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has delayed the JEE Main 2022 registration. In the previous year, the 2020-21 session, the JEE Main exam dates were announced in December. The application process for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2022 which was expected to start in December is delayed. Also, no information on NTA JEE Main application form 2022 or the exam dates has been shared by NTA. According to various media sources, it is expected that the JEE Mains 2022 exam date will soon be announced on its official website jeemain.nta.nic.in.

NTA will release the JEE Main 2022 eligibility criteria along with the official notification. As per previous year eligibility criteria, students should have passed 10+2 or those who are awaiting the results can apply. They must have qualified in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics to appear in the JEE Main.

What is the JEE Main 2022?
JEE Main is the preliminary stage to get admission in the premium engineering colleges. From 2021, NTA decided to hold the JEE Main exam 4 times. Aspirants will be eligible to appear for one or all sessions and their best scores will be considered for the merit list.
A total of 2,50,000 candidates will be shortlisted out of all the qualified in the JEE Main to appear in the JEE Advanced. Candidates qualified in the JEE Advanced will be shortlisted to take admission into various IITs in India.
