Try NowNEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has allowed Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main 2022 candidates to make corrections in their application form for session 1. Aspirants can edit JEE Main 2022 application form starting from today, April 6 till 9PM of April 8.

“In view of the numerous representations received from the candidates regarding giving them an opportunity to edit/modify their particulars in the Online Application Form of JEE Main 2022 Session 1, National Testing Agency has decided to provide the first and final opportunity to the candidates for modifying their particulars in the Online Application Form of JEE Main 2022 Session 1,” said NTA in an official notification.

All the registered candidates for JEE Main 2022 are advised to visit the website and verify their particulars. They are further advised to make corrections in their particulars, in their respective application form, if required.
No correction in particulars, whatsoever, will be entertained by NTA under any circumstances, the agency said. The additional fee (wherever applicable) shall be paid by the candidate concerned either through Credit, Debit Card, Net Banking, UPI and PAYTM.

Since, it is a one-time facility extended to the candidates to avoid any hardships to them, the candidates are informed to do the correction very carefully, as no further chance for correction will be given to the candidates, NTA further said.

JEE Main 2022: Steps to edit application form
To edit the JEE Main 2022 application form, candidates will have to log in using their registration number and password on the official website. Applicants can check the steps given below to make changes in JEE Main 2022 session 1 application form.
- Visit the NTA JEE Main 2022 official website jeemain.nta.nic.in and log in using your registration number and password.
- Click on the “JEE Main Correction in Application Form 2022 link”.
- Read the instruction and click on "Proceed" for JEE Main correction window.
- JEE Main 2022 application form will be displayed on the screen. Candidates can make the necessary corrections if required.
- After making the corrections, click on the “Submit” button
- Take a printout of the application form and keep it safe till the completion of the admission process.
