NTA has successfully concluded the JEE Main 2022 June 24 for both shifts today. Candidates appeared for the exam had faced server issues at many exam centres. NTA has not specified the minimum marks to qualify the JEE Mains exam. Amid floods in the Assam, NTA is conducting the JEE Main 2022 session 1 exam from June 23 to 29. For the postponement of exam for Assam students TMC MP Sushmita Dev today wrote to CM Himanta Biswa Sarma for his intervention in this regard. Mathematics
A few students found the Mathematics section difficult as quite a few questions involved lengthy calculations. Adequate importance was given to Calculus & Algebra. Questions from Chapters of Binomial Theorem, Permutation & Combination, Probability as well as Limits, Definite Integral, Differential equation in Calculus were also present, and questions from Coordinate Geometry were also present in adequate numbers. To score well on such a paper, a student should practise regularly and solve mock tests.

Physics
The Physics paper was considered to be easy by a large number of students. This paper was quite balanced as questions from class XI and class XII were equally distributed. Some numerical-based questions were found to involve elaborate calculations. A few students also reported that some questions were a bit tricky. Students with a thorough understanding of the ‘Concepts of Physics by HC Verma' along with NCERT should be able to score well in this paper. Solving Mock tests as the last leg of preparation is the key to a high score for this section

Chemistry
This paper was of a moderate difficulty level and a few questions could be answered by applying the knowledge of NCERT books. Inorganic Chemistry had a slight edge over Organic and Physical Chemistry in terms of the distribution of questions. Questions were asked from chapters like Environmental Chemistry, Chemistry in Everyday life, & p-block elements. Some of the questions from Physical Chemistry were considered difficult by a section of students, and questions from Inorganic Chemistry were of moderate levels As mentioned previously, students with a good understanding of NCERT books should be able to do well in this pap

NTA JEE Mains 2022 paper 1 exam for BTech/ BE courses to commence today. The shift 1 of day 2 will start at 9 AM. The PwD candidates who are visually impaired or  dyslexic (severe) or have a disability in the upper limbs or have lost fingers/hands thereby preventing them from properly operating the Computer Based Test platform may avail the services of a scribe (amanuensis). The scribe will help the candidate in reading the questions and/or keying in the answers as per the directions of the candidate. A scribe will neither explain the questions NOR suggest any solutions.

• MCQs: Candidates will be given four marks for each correct answer and there will be a negative marking of one mark on each wrong answer.

• Questions with numerical value answers: Students will be given four marks for each correct answer and there will be deduction of one mark for each wrong answer.

• Drawing Test: Two questions are evaluated out of 100 marks.

JEE Main 2022 will be conducted in the following modes:

• Paper 1 (B.E. /B. Tech.) in “Computer Based Test (CBT)” mode only.

• Paper 2A (B. Arch): Mathematics (Part-I) and Aptitude Test (Part-II) in “Computer Based Test (CBT)” mode only and Drawing Test (Part-III) in pen and paper (offline) mode, to be attempted on a drawing sheet of A4 size.

In order to appear in the JEE Main 2022 exa,, there is no age limit for the candidates. The candidates who have passed the class 12/equivalent examination in 2020, 2021, or appearing in 2022 irrespective of their age can appear in JEE Main 2022 examination.

NTA is conducting the JEE Main BTech paper today. The Mathematics (Part-I) and Aptitude Test (Part-II) is conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode only and Drawing Test (Part-III) in Pen and Paper Based (offline) mode, to be attempted on drawing sheet of A4 size.

No, the scribe will be provided by the National Testing Agency only. The candidates will not be allowed to bring his/her own scribe. PwD candidates who desire to avail the services of a scribe need to opt for this during the online registration of JEE Main 2022.

All calculations/writing work during the JEE Main 2022 exam is to be done only in the rough sheet provided at the test centre in the Examination Room/Hall and on completion of the test, candidates must hand over the Rough Sheets to the Invigilator on duty in the Room/Hall.

Aptitude – Easy to Moderate level. Questions mostly from 3- Dimensional Figures.

Drawing– Easy level. One question involved drawing and coloring the scene of a Holi Festival, question on Color scheme of logo of Burger King and another question was to redraw a given figure with correct proportions (1:500).

Part-I- Mathematics - The maths section had 20 Multiple choice questions with Single correct answers & Sec-II had 10 Numerical based questions out which only 5 had to be attempted.
