Amid floods in the Assam, NTA is conducting the JEE Main 2022 session 1 exam from June 23 to 29. For the postponement of exam for Assam students TMC MP Sushmita Dev today wrote to CM Himanta Biswa Sarma for his intervention in this regard. She mentioned that students in Silchar are facing difficulty in reaching to the exam centres amid floods.

Some numerical-based questions were found to involve elaborate calculations. A few students also reported that some questions were a bit tricky. Students with a thorough understanding of the ‘Concepts of Physics by HC Verma' along with NCERT should be able to score well in this paper. Solving Mock tests as the last leg of preparation is the key to a high score for this section
Chemistry
This paper was of a moderate difficulty level and a few questions could be answered by applying the knowledge of NCERT books. Inorganic Chemistry had a slight edge over Organic and Physical Chemistry in terms of the distribution of questions. Questions were asked from chapters like Environmental Chemistry, Chemistry in Everyday life, & p-block elements. Some of the questions from Physical Chemistry were considered difficult by a section of students, and questions from Inorganic Chemistry were of moderate levels As mentioned previously, students with a good understanding of NCERT books should be able to do well in this pap

The PwD candidates who are visually impaired or dyslexic (severe) or have a disability in the upper limbs or have lost fingers/hands thereby preventing them from properly operating the Computer Based Test platform may avail the services of a scribe (amanuensis). The scribe will help the candidate in reading the questions and/or keying in the answers as per the directions of the candidate. A scribe will neither explain the questions NOR suggest any solutions.
MCQs: Candidates will be given four marks for each correct answer and there will be a negative marking of one mark on each wrong answer.
