Aspirants also found the JEE Main 2023 question paper to be easier than last year, as per the FIITJEE team. JEE Main 2023 questions covered almost all chapters of CBSE Board Class 11 and 12. Students found the JEE Main paper to be balanced in terms of coverage of chapters, it said.
JEE Main 2023 paper 1 had a total of 90 questions for 300 marks. Five out of the 10 questions were to be attempted from the numerical-based section in each subject. Know JEE Main 2023 January 24 shift 1 difficulty level, as per the FIITJEE analysis.

Students who are going to appear in the upcoming JEE Main 2023 can check the questions asked in the JEE Main shift 1 on January 24 to prepare well for the exam.
Mathematics – Questions were asked from all chapters with emphasis on Chapters of Algebra and Calculus. Questions asked from Determinants, 3D Geometry, Vectors, Permutation and Combination, Probability, Binomial Theorem, Complex Numbers, Functions, Limits and Continuity, Definite Integrals, Area under Curves, Parabola, Ellipse and Circle. Students said that the numerical section had lengthy calculations.
Physics - Questions asked from Electrostatics, Magnetism, Current Electricity and Modern Physics, EM Waves, Laws of Motion, Semiconductors, Kinematics, Heat and Thermodynamics. A few fact-based questions from NCERT Class 12 chapters of were also asked.
Chemistry – Questions on Organic and Inorganic Chemistry were exact same as the ones from NCERT books. Numerical based questions were mostly from physical chemistry.
