NTA has released the JEE Main 2023 session 2 admit card for April 8 exam. Candidates appearing for the JEE Main exam tomorrow must download their admit card from official website- jeemain.nta.nic.in.

JEE Main exam for BE/BTech courses will consist of 90 MCQs carrying 300 marks.

The jeemain.nta.nic.in and nta.ac.in 2023 websites are hosting the JEE Main mock test 2023 links. The mock test question papers include questions from JEE Main previous year questions.

NTA will be conducting the JEE Main 2023 session 2 day 2 exam tomorrow, April 8, 2023. Candidates will appear for the exam in two shifts- 9 AM to 12 PM and 3 PM to 6 PM.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Mains) session 2 admit card 2023 for April 6 exam on April 3. A day before, admit card for candidates appearing for the JEE Main April session 2 on April 8 was released on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in 2023.

The JEE Main 2023 session 2 day 1 subject-wise difficulty level as per Nitin Arora, assistant director academics, Aakash BYJU'S Live is given below.

• Physics was the easiest subject to attempt.
• Chemistry had a mix of moderate and easy questions. The chemistry section consisted mostly of easy questions.
• Mathematics was of moderate difficulty. Mathematics consisted mostly of easy & moderate questions.

"Overall, it was a balanced paper which can be solved in the stipulated time. Average students found Mathematics difficult. The difficulty level-wise order according to a large section of students is Mathematics > Physics > Chemistry," as per experts.

NTA said that if a candidate indulges in unfair means or cheating, they will be booked under the UNFAIR MEANS (UFM) case and may be debarred for three years in the future. The candidate “shall also be liable for criminal action and /or any other action as deemed fit.”

The morning shift of the first day of the second round of JEE Main Btech, BE paper held today, April 6 had easy physics, moderate maths and easy to moderate chemistry papers.

The JEE Main 2023 exam timing today for the second shift exam is 3 pm to 6 pm.

The overall difficulty level of JEE Main paper 2 exam today, as per students associated with FIITJEE, was balanced. “In terms of order of difficulty – mathematics was moderate, chemistry was easy to moderate, while physics was easy,” Ramesh Batlish Head, FIITJEE Noida said.

The entry to the JEE Main 2023 exam centre will close at 2:30 pm for the exams starting at 3 pm. The JEE Main 2023 shift 2 exam will be held from 3 pm to 6 pm.

According to a sizeable number of students, Physics part was of easy level. Questions from Mechanics, Current electricity, Semiconductors and Modern Physics were duly represented in the paper. Two questions from Modern Physics and two questions current electricity were there in the paper. Other chapters were also included in due proportions. There were a good number of numerical which were largely formula based. According to students XI and XII Physics had almost equal weightage in paper. PYQ were also there in paper. Solving a good number of mock tests would prove to be an effective strategy.

As per students associated with Akash-Byjus who appeared for the exam said the chemistry paper was by and large based on NCERT books.

The JEE main shift-wise difficulty level 2023 including day 1 shift 1 as per candidates who took the exam will be made available after the exam gets over everyday.

The NTA will hold the JEE mains session 2 exams 2023 at 330 exam centres across the country. The exam will be held in the Computer-based mode.

Candidates who appear in the JEE main session 2 exams 2023 and use unfair means to cheat or copy in the exam will be subjected to the cancellation of candidature. This also includes such candidates who possess prohibited items inside the exam hall.

As many as 9.4 lakh candidates have registered to appear in the JEE main 2023 session 2 exams. The exams will take place in the online mode.

In the JEE mains exam 2023 for session 2, the candidates will only be allowed to carry ball-point pen, pencils, scale, erasers and compass. No other items are allowed inside the exam hall.

Two hours before the commencement of JEE main session 2 exam 2023, the candidates must report to the examination center, as inspection process shall consume some time.

Candidates about to take the JEE mains session 2 exams 2023 must note that they will not be allowed to carry any prepared food items or eatables inside the exam hall.

Candidates about to take the JEE main exam 2023 on April 8 will have to key in their application number and password to access and download their hall tickets for the exam.

For JEE Mains 2023, there is no dress code as such, however, candidates should avoid wearing jewellery.

The entry at the JEE Main 2023 examination centre will begin at 7am for the first shift and at 1pm for the second shift.

Candidates are not allowed to carry instruments, geometry or pencil box, handbag, purse, any kind of paper or stationery or textual material (printed or written material), eatables and water (loose or packed), mobile phone or earphone or microphone or pager, calculator, docupen, slide rules, log tables, camera, tape recorder, electronic watches with facilities of calculator, any metallic item or electronic gadgets or devices in the examination hall.

JEE Main self-declaration form 2023 is a part of the form, printed on the first page of JEE Main 2023 admit card. It is a self undertaking that every candidate has to sign which informs about any symptoms of covid-19, travel history in the past 14 days, possible touch with any covid-19 patient and details of quarantine (if any) in candidates. Every candidate has to bring the JEE Main 2023 self-declaration form on the exam day.

The NTA will conduct the JEE main 2023 session 2 exams in the online mode across the country. The exam will be Computer-based.

Candidates must note that before entering the JEE main session 2 exam centre, they should not possess any prohibited items such as mobile phones, tablets, earphones, electronic chips, notebooks, books etc.

Candidates about to take JEE main session 2 exams 2023 tomorrow on April 6 should carry their hall tickets and a valid photo ID proof to the exam center, for verification purposes.

NTA JEE Main 2023 information bulletin reads, "For appearing in the JEE (Main) - 2023, there is no age limit for the candidates. The candidates who have passed the class 12/equivalent examination in 2021, 2022, or appearing in 2023 irrespective of their age can appear in JEE (Main) - 2023 examination. However, the candidates may be required to fulfill the age criteria of the Institute(s) to which they are desirous of taking admission."

In JEE Mains 2023, there are a total of 90 questions in paper 1 and 82 questions in paper 2.

According to JEE Main 2023 marking scheme, candidates will get 4 marks for each correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for wrong answer.

JEE Main 2023 exam paper 1 will be held for physics, chemistry, and mathematics. Each section will carry 100 marks and the exam will be of 300 marks in total.

NTA had revised the 75% eligibility criteria for JEE Main exam according to which students who secured 75% in Class 12 or in top 20 percentile can appear for exam.

JEE Main 2023 session 2 will be held in two shifts. The first shift will begin from 9am to 12noon and second shift from 3pm to 6pm.

JEE Mains 2023 session 2 exam will be conducted on April 6, 8, 10, 11, 12, 13, and 15.

JEE Main 2023 second attempt exam will be conducted for BE and BTech papers, or paper 1, BArch (paper 2A) and BPlanning (paper 2B) papers. The JEE Main BE, BTech paper will have questions from mathematics, physics and chemistry.

• Click on the relevant link to download the hall ticket for the exam.
• A new login page will be displayed on the screen. Key in your valid login credentials like application number and date of birth.
• Submit the details. The hall ticket will be displayed on the screen.
• Check the hall ticket details and download it on your device.
• Print its hard copy for future references.
