NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is all set to conduct the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2023 January session exam from tomorrow, January 24. The JEE Main session 1 exam will be held in two shifts; the morning shift from 9 am to 12 pm, and the afternoon shift from 3 pm to 6 pm. The candidates must carry the hard copy of JEE Main admit card 2023 along with self declaration form and a valid photo ID proof. The engineering entrance exam will be held on January 24, 25, 28, 29, 30, 31 and February 1, 2023, at different centres located in 290 cities throughout the country and 18 cities abroad.
The JEE Main 2023 paper-1 for admission to BE and BTech programmes will be conducted for Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in computer-based mode. Paper 2A and Paper 2B of JEE Main will have a Mathematics and Aptitude Test in common, while Drawing test and Planning test are confined to architectural and planning courses, respectively.
JEE Main 2023 Session 1: Things To Carry Inside Exam Hall
- JEE Main session 1 admit card downloaded from the NTA website. The JEE Main admit card 2023 should be clear, preferably a colour printout on A4 size paper.
- One passport-size photograph. The photo must be same as uploaded with the online JEE Main application form and have to be pasted on the attendance sheet at the centre.
- A valid photo ID proof in original should be e original, valid, and non-expired. A valid ID proof can be PAN card, Driving License, voter ID, passport, Aadhaar card with photograph, ration card, or Class 12 admit card.
- Transparent ballpoint pen.
- Personal hand sanitizer (50 ml).
- Transparent water bottle.
- Sugar tablets/fruits (like banana/apple/orange) in case the candidate is diabetic.
- A PWD certificate issued by an authorized medical officer, if claiming a disability category relaxation, or a PwD certificate regarding physical limitation as mentioned in the information bulletin, if claiming a category relaxation.
