NTA will give four marks to the candidates for each correct response in the JEE Mains session 2 exams 2023 and deduct one mark for each wrong answer. Zero marks will be awarded for questions not attempted by candidates.

For dropped questions in JEE Mains 2023 section A, then full marks will be awarded to all candidates who have appeared irrespective of the fact whether the question has been attempted or not attempted by the candidate.

Section A will be of Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs) and Section B will contain Questions whose answers are to be filled in as a numerical value. For Section B - If a question is found to be incorrect or the Question is dropped then Four marks (+4) will be awarded to all those who have attempted the question. The reason could be due to human error or technical error.
