NEW DELHI: The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2023 session 2 result is expected to be announced today, as per reports. Candidates who appeared for the JEE Main 2023 session 2 exam are able to check the BTech final answer key. NTA has dropped a total of 10 questions from all the shifts combined. Along with JEE Main result 2023 session 2, the agency will also be declaring the JEE Main 2023 category-wise cut-off and toppers list. The results will be based on the JEE Main 2023 final answer key released yesterday, April 24, 2023. The NTA has informed the candidates that there will be no revaluation of the result.
Candidates who are awaiting JEE Main result will be able to check their performances in NTA JEE Main 2023 April session by logging in using application number and password. The NTA uses a normalization method to declare JEE Main 2023 results wherein raw scores of candidates are converted into NTA percentile scores.

No, there will be no rechecking of JEE Main 2023 results.
"During the course of, before, or after the examination if a candidate indulges in any of the above or similar practices, he/she shall be deemed to have used unfair practices and booked under the UNFAIR MEANS (U.F.M.) case. The candidate may be debarred for 3 years in the future and shall also be liable for criminal action and /or any other action as deemed fit," NTA said in the information bulletin.

The NTA Score of a Candidate will be calculated as follows:
(100 X Number of candidates appeared in the ‘Session’ with raw score EQUAL TO OR LESS than the candidate) / Total number of the candidates who appeared in the ‘Session’
NTA scores are normalized scores across multi-session papers and will be based on the relative performance of all those who appeared for the examination in one session. The marks obtained in JEE Mains 2023 session 2 are converted into a scale ranging from 100 to 0 for each session of examinees.
NTA will give four marks to the candidates for each correct response in the JEE Mains session 2 exams 2023 and deduct one mark for each wrong answer. Zero marks will be awarded for questions not attempted by candidates.

NTA calculates the JEE Main 2023 based on a candidate's performance when compared to the total number of candidates appearing in the exam.

NTA will release JEE Main 2023 final answer key with which candidates will be able to check the right answers to the questions asked in the exam.
"During the course of, before, or after the examination if a candidate indulges in any of the above or similar practices, he/she shall be deemed to have used unfair practices and booked under the UNFAIR MEANS (U.F.M.) case. The candidate may be debarred for 3 years in the future and shall also be liable for criminal action and /or any other action as deemed fit," as per NTA.
The credentials required to check JEE Main 2023 results are application number and date of birth.
"There shall be no re-evaluation/re-checking of the result. No correspondence in this regard shall be entertained," NTA said.
NTA has revised JEE Main 2023 75% eligibility criteria according to which students who have scored 75% marks or are in the top 20 percentile in Class 12 of any education board will be eligible to seek admission to NITs and IITs and to appear for JEE Advanced 2023.

NTA will release the JEE Main 2023 cut-off along with results. The cut-off will be qualifying percentile scores for each category. Meanwhile, students can check the expected cut-off here:

NTA will give four marks to the candidates for each correct response in the JEE Mains session 2 exams 2023 and deduct one mark for each wrong answer. Zero marks will be awarded for questions not attempted by candidates.
