JEE Main 2024 was held as a computer-based test with 90 questions. Each subject included 30 questions. Section A comprised 20 multiple-choice questions and Section B consisted of 10 questions with written numerical answers.
The overall difficulty level of NTA JEE Mains 2024 session 2 exam held today was easy for physics and chemistry sections, and moderate for mathematics. Students found the physics section mostly formula-based while the chemistry section included some NCERT-based questions.

A few questions were reported as lengthy and easy in the mathematics section while organic chemistry was given more weightage as compared to physical and inorganic chemistry, according to Ramesh Batlish, head, FIITJEE Noida Centres.
