NEW DELHI: Gajare Nilkrishna Nirmalkumar who scored full marks in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2024 believes consistency and hard work are the key to success and suggests to keep questioning until the solution is understood. The JEE Main 2024 topper belongs to a small village in Washim district, Maharashtra. His father is a farmer and mother is a homemaker. He completed Class 10 from JC High School, Karanja(lad). Upon knowing his JEE Main session 2 result 2024, Nilkrishna celebrated the moment along with his family and villagers.
Nilkrishna developed an interest in engineering back in Class 10 because of his love for the subjects. He started JEE Main 2024 preparation in Class 11. His daily routine included waking up early in the morning, exercising for about an hour, and studying for the rest of the day.
To ace the exam in computer-based mode, the JEE Main session 2 ranker 2024 practised from various JEE Main mock tests 2024 and JEE Main sample papers 2024.
Nilkrishna took coaching classes from Allen Institute to prepare for the JEE Main exam 2024. “I believe opting for coaching is necessary since it provides proper guidance and a systematic way to study for the exam,” he told Careers360.

While he didn’t follow any special book for his JEE Main 2024 preparation, Nilkrishna studied from the books provided by his institute and prepared for inorganic chemistry with the help of his school textbook. He referred to notes for physics and chemistry and practised a lot for mathematics.
The JEE Main topper 2024 found all the subjects quite easy and mathematics section a bit lengthy in the exam. He believes that his continuous hard work of two years and consistency in following the schedule are what brought him success in the nation’s biggest engineering entrance exam.
Gajare Nilkrishna scored 100 in the first session of JEE Main 2024 itself. The reason for attempting JEE Main 2024 April session was to get a hang of the exam environment as he plans to appear for JEE Advanced 2024. He wants to study BTech in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay.
The JEE Main overall topper 2024 not only focuses on health for managing stress but also plays archery. He has played state and national level tournaments. According to him, the game teaches him concentration.
Gajare Nilkrishna’s biggest inspiration in life is his parents, teachers, and a childhood friend named Shreekant Gawande.
Sharing his message for JEE Main aspirants, he said, “My message to all the students who are preparing for the JEE Main exam would be to focus on consistency and hard work for success in this examination. Students should aspire to know more and keep questioning until the solution to the question is understood. Don't be shy to ask.”
