JEE Main 2025 Live: City slip soon at jeemain.nta.nic.in; cutoffs, revised exam pattern

JEE Main 2025 will be held for two papers – paper 1 (BE/ BTech) and paper 2 (BArch/ BPharm). JEE Main 2025 paper 1 will be held on January 22, 23, 24, 28 and 29, paper 2 will be conducted only on January 30.

Candidates will be able to download the JEE Main 2025 exam city slip using their login credentials such as application number and password.

Candidates will be given three hours to complete the JEE Main 2025 examination

The JEE Main 2025 admit card will be issued three days before the exam, that is, January 19, 2025.

NTA has discontinued the optional question in the JEE Main exam section B. As per the revised pattern, section B will only have 5 questions and candidates will have to attend all the questions without any options for selection in the JEE Main exam for both paper 1 and paper 2.

The JEE Main 2025 session 1 admit card will include key details such as the candidate's name, roll number, exam name, session, centre, exam timings, guidelines, etc.

Approximately 12.7 lakh students have registered for the JEE Main 2025.

Candidates can download the exam city slip and admit card using the JEE Main 2025 application number. 

The JEE Mains 2025 will be conducted in 13 languages including Assamese, Bengali, Kannada, Malayalam, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu in addition to Hindi, English, and Gujarati.

Candidates can follow the steps given below to download the JEE Main 2025 admit card. 

• Visit the website at jeemain.nta.nic.in 
• Click on the JEE Main Admit Card 2025 link
• Enter your application number and password.
• Click on the 'Sign In' button available.
• The admit card of JEE Main will appear on the candidates portal.
• Check the details and download the admit card.

Candidates are allowed to bring their valid ID proof such as an Aadhar card, voter ID, etc along with the  JEE main 2025 admit card while appearing for the exam.

Candidates can check the JEE Main intimation city slip 2025 for the BTech paper when available on the official website at  jeemain.nta.nic.in.

Candidates will be given four marks for each correct answer and deduct one mark for each incorrect response. No marks will be awarded for unattempted questions, as per the JEE Main 2025 marking scheme. 

As per the NTA schedule, the JEE Main 2025 exam for BTech will be held on January 22, 23, 24, 28,  and 29, while the BArch exam will be conducted on January 30.

The JEE Main BTech exam will begin from January 22 to 30, 2025.

The JEE Main 2025 closing rank for BTech computer science and engineering increased from 3406 to 2933 last year. While for BTech computational and data science, the cut-off rose from 6155 to 4786 rank last year for home-state category candidates.

• Enter your application number and date of birth (DOB)
• The JEE Main exam city slip 2025 will be displayed
• Download the slip and take a printout for your records

The JEE Main 2025 admit card release date is yet to be announced by NTA.
