Attempt NowNEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the Joint Entrance Examination - Main (JEE Main 2024) exam dates for aspirants seeking admission in IITs, NITs and other engineering colleges. The national-level engineering entrance exam, JEE Main 2025, will be held in two sessions in January and April. The NTA has activated the registration link for JEE Main 2025 session 1 exam and the last date to apply for the JEE Main exam 2025 is November 22. Candidates can complete the JEE Main 2025 registration through the JEE new website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. Last year, around 12 lakh students registered for the January exams.
As per the schedule, JEE Main session 1 exams 2025 will be held from January 22 and January 31 and session 2 exams is tentatively scheduled to take place from April 1 to April 8, 2025.
Candidates who have completed Class 12 or appearing in the upcoming board exam 2025 will be eligible to apply for the exam. They will be given an option to attempt JEE Main twice in a year to reduce the number of dropouts.
IIT JEE Main will have two papers - paper 1 will be held for BE, BTech and paper 2 for BArch and BPlanning. It is also an eligibility test for appearing in JEE Advanced 2025, conducted by the IITs for admission into Indian Institutes of Technology.

- Visit the JEE Main official website, jeemain.nta.ac.in,
- Click on the JEE Main new registration 2025 link displayed on the homepage.
- NTA also allows creating an account using Digi locker account through the NAD portal, Academic Bank of Credits ID (ABC ID) through the ABC ID, Indian passport number, non-Indian passport number, PAN card number, or Aadhaar.
- Login using the credentials generated and provide personal and academic details.
- Select number of JEE Main attempts and paper appearing for.
- Upload all the necessary documents and pay the JEE application fee.
- Review the application form and submit.
- Download the confirmation page for future reference.
