NTA has asked JEE Main 2025 candidates to ensure that the QR Code and the barcode is available on the JEE Main 2025 admit card while downloading. Candidates have been told to bring the photo ID uploaded in the JEE Main application form 2025 and mentioned in the JEE Main admit card 2025 for verification purposes. 

"The candidates are advised to carefully read the subject-specific instructions and other instructions mentioned in the question paper and abide by the same," the official notice added.

Candidates appearing for the JEE Mains 2025 session 1 exams can download the JEE Main admit card 2025 from the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. 

Candidates can carry any of the following valid photo ID along with JEE Mains hall ticket 2025 

• Aadhaar Card 
• PAN card
• Voter ID
• Driving license
• Passport

The NIT Andhra Pradesh dropped JEE Main cutoffs dropped for CSE, ECE, and other Btech programmes last year. The JEE Main closing rank for last year at NIT Andhra Pradesh for BTech CSE was 14,707 marking a reduction of 4,851 for the home state quota. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has not announced any particular set of instructions regarding dress code for JEE Mains 2025. However, candidates, who will be appearing in the upcoming JEE Main 2025 exams should consider points before reaching the examination centre. 

• Caps, scarves, jewellery and mettalic items are restricted.
• Thick-soled shoes and clothes with large buttons are prohibited in exam hall.
• Jeans are allowed but also try wearing some light weighted clothes to avoid discomfort during writing the exam.
• Any kind of jewellery or ornament is strictly prohibited. 
• Avoid belts as they will cause delay in security checks.
• Do not wear accessories such as goggles, rings, bracelets or other similar items.
• Shoes with thick soles are not allowed.
• Any kind of stole, dupatta or scarf is not allowed.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has yet not released the answer key for JEE Main 2025. The agency is expected to release the provisional answer key 2 days after the JEE Main 2025 exam is concluded. The final JEE Main 2025 answer key will be released after the evaluation of the challenges made by candidates. As per previous years trend, the JEE Main 2025 session 1 answer key is expected to be released in February 2025.

As per the students who appeared for the JEE Main 2025 exam on January 22 in shift 2, the Mathematics part of the paper was lengthy and difficult. Whereas, others think that the chemistry section was easy. Physics was cited as easy to moderate.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has made few minor changes in the JEE Main syllabus 2025. The changes are made in Physics section, topics including scalars and vectors, vector addition and subtraction, scalar and vector products, unit vectors and vector resolution have been chopped from the JEE Main syllabus 2025. Notably, the agency made significant changes into the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics syllabus last year in 2024. The JEE Main 2025 counselling date will be announced on the official website of JoSAA at josaa.nic.in. Candidates, who will qualify for the JEE Main 2025 exams will be able to participate in the JEE counselling process. Registration, choice filling, seat allotment, submitting willingness, and reporting to the institutes, all are part of the counselling process. It will be conducted in five rounds. 

What is JoSAA?

The JoSAA is the Joint Seat Allocation Authority, set up by the Ministry of Education to manage and regulate the join seat allocation for admissions to 121 institutes including 23 IITs, 31 NITs, IIEST Shibpur, 26 IIITs and 40 other government funded technical institutes (GFTIs).   

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will continue to conduct the Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Mains 2025) from January 28 for BE, BTech paper 1 and BArch, BPlanning paper 2. Recently, the National Testing Agency (NTA) changed the JEE Main 2025 exam centre for 114 candidates, citing technical snag in Karnataka centre. While, the agency also changed the JEE Main 2025 exam in Ayodhya in view of the MahaKumbh Mela 2025.

The National Testing Agency has concluded the JEE Main 2025 exam for January 22, 23, and 24. The upcoming exams for JEE Main 2025 session 1 will be conducted on January 28, 29 and 30.  

The National Testing Agency (NTA), recently, revised the JEE Main 2025 exam pattern and released the new one on its official website. As per the new pattern, the optional questions in section B have been removed for both paper 1 and paper 2, while all five questions in the section compulsory. • Candidates appearing for the JEE Main 2025 exam must carry their admit card and present it at the examination centre. 
• Along with JEE Main 2025 admit card, candidates must also bring a valid address proof such as Adhaar card or driving license, or passport.
• This is important to note that no candidate, under any circumstances will be allowed to enter the examination hall without showing the JEE Main 2025 admit card. 
• Candidates are requested to depart from the examination hall after the completion of the exam in an orderly fashion.
